smsGuardian® Text Alert Fraud Prevention 3

  • Complimentary text alert service provided for all Heartland Bank debit cards
  • Receive text alerts regarding suspicious account transactions. If it’s fraudulent, reply immediately and your card will be blocked from further criminal activity. If you know the purchase is legitimate, you don’t need to do anything!
  • Triggers which may result in a text are: International transactions, authorizations greater than $100, out-of-state transactions, and card not present
  • To enroll all you need is the 16 digit card number, the last 4 of your SSN, and the phone number of the device you want to receive the text alerts. Enroll for this complimentary service today!

OOPS - Overdraft Protection 5

Some of us have experienced that moment when the balance in our checking account is less than we thought. Perhaps you forgot about a check you wrote, miscalculated, forgot to transfer funds or just lost track of the balance. Having a check returned due to insufficient funds can be pricey, inconvenient and potentially an embarrassing experience. That’s why we are pleased to offer you “OOPS!” our Optional Overdraft Protection Service. OOPS allows automatic transfers between Heartland accounts to avoid overdrafts for a daily transfer fee.
