Heartland Bank is dedicated to giving back to the communities in our service area through volunteerism and financial support of local organizations.

We are very active in the Fordyce community. Our Branch Manger, B.D. Hargett, Jr., known locally as Bubba, serves on the boards of the Dallas County Medical Center; the 13th Judicial CASA North, which advocates for foster children; and the Sunshine House of Fordyce, which is a local foster home. Not to mention, Bubba is a long-time Rotarian! We are involved in many local events, and recently have held two financial education seminars at the local school district for students as part of the American Bankers Association campaign.

In our Sheridan market, we are proud to be a part of the annual Celebrity Dinner, which raises money for the American Cancer Society, and you can usually find us waiting with warm apple cider for you after the parade at Christmas on the Square, which supports the Chamber of Commerce’s shop local holiday campaign. Recently, we held a financial education seminar, Safe Banking for Seniors, at the local Senior Citizen’s Center. In addition, we support an array of other local activities and groups through financial sponsorship's.

In the fall, our Bryant Branch lives for festivals. We kick it off with our booth at the annual Salt Bowl, for the famous Benton vs. Bryant football game at War Memorial which also serves as a fundraiser for the Arkansas Food Bank’s Food for Kids program. We follow that up with a booth at Bryant’s annual Fall Fest at the end of September. Around Halloween, you’ll find us giving out sweet treats at Monster Madness! Then we wind down in January with the annual Bryant Chamber Winter Banquet.

Little Rock-Heights

Our Heights Branch stays busy with all of the local hustle and bustle of the Heights. Our Branch Manager, John Bonaminio, serves on the board of the Heights Business Association. You can typically spot us at the Third Thursday in the Heights, where we’re usually giving out some sort of sweet treat. Speaking of treats, be sure to come by our booth at the annual Chili Fights in the Heights and try a bowl of our warm, spicy concoction!
